Public Mutual declares dividends

KUALA LUMPUR: Public Bank’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Public Mutual, has declared between 0.5 sen and 2.5 sen dividend for five of its funds for the financial year ended April 30, 2010.

It declared 2.50 sen per unit for Public Far-East Telco & Infrastructure Fund; 1.25 sen per unit for Public Islamic Dividend Fund; 0.75 sen per unit for Public Islamic Asia Dividend Fund; 1.50 sen per unit for Public Far-East Balanced Fund; and 0.50 sen per unit for Public Global Balanced Fund.

The funds had generated one-year returns of 31.01%, 34.43%, 35.27%, 25.03% and 19.69% respectively for the period ended April 9, 2010, Public Mutual said in a statement yesterday.
As at March 31, the total net asset value of the funds managed by the company was RM36.6bil, it said. -
